Biography: Ted Fox has financed, written, produced, directed, acted in and marketed numerous distinguished motion pictures for Ted Fox Entertainment—from the extremely successful family films Little Cobras: Operation Dalmatian and Monkey Business, to the haunting, gritty action movie Dark Nova, and the darkly funny Deadfall, starring Nicolas Cage, Charlie Sheen, Peter Fonda and James Coburn—a movie featuring seven Academy Award®, Golden Globe® and Emmy® winners. Some of Ted’s other titles include the horror film Soulmates, the thriller Quick and Easy and the dark romance Love is Like That starring Tom Sizemore. Ted Fox was nominated for International Critics Week Competition at the 1991 Cannes Film Festival for his Liquid Dreams, and is in continuous demand as a creative producer on film and television projects. Ted recently completed financing, writing, producing, directing and acting in Supreme Champion, which was released in the late Fall of 2011. It is the first film under his Supreme Studios banner. Production of the next installment of this franchise is being planned, to be followed by the crime thriller Graduation Day. Ted is also a minority owner in Emmett/Furla Productions and is a Co-Executive Producer on Gun with 50 Cent and Val Kilmer, and Touchback with Kurt Russell. Ted is an Executive Producer on Freelancers with Robert De Niro and Forest Whitaker, and Fire with Fire with Bruce Willis and Josh Duhamel which are being distributed by Lionsgate. Ted also co-financed and acted as Executive Producer on Setup with Bruce Willis, Ryan Phillippe and 50 Cent distributed by Lionsgate. Ted is also an Executive Producer on the recently filmed Frozen Ground with Nicolas Cage, John Cusack and Vanessa Hudgens, and Empire State with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Liam Hemsworth. Other Activities: Ted began his business career as a very successful nightclub impresario in the Los Angeles area, producing hallmark “game changing” promotions such as “Romper Room” and “Playground.” Ted also owned the popular tequila bar and restaurant Hollywood Desperados and was a minority owner in the Las Vegas Rainbow. Along with producing, Ted stays busy consulting, financing, writing, directing, acting, and marketing entertainment projects from film, television, music, video gaming, concept branding and web based ventures. Ted’s music production company, TBS Music, has produced an album entitled About to Make History featuring his artist Dolla. Ted is a principal in two music publishing companies, Ted Fox Music and Ted Fox Rhythm, which own the rights to the scores and soundtracks of his film projects. Ted is an active real estate investor with shares in regional shopping centers and numerous premier properties such as the square block in Beverly Hills, CA housing retailer Barney’s of New York as well as the historical landmark Union Trust Building in Pittsburgh, PA. Ted is also involved and is an investor in several “start-up” technology companies. Ted is very active in charity work. Ted is on the board of directors for the Endowment for Middle East Truth, a Washington DC think tank and is involved in Operation Embrace, an organization that aids the survivors of terror attacks.
